Government advocacy is one of the most important functions of TAPA. Each day, meetings are held across the state discussing issues that affect the rules and regulations governing PA licensure, practice and reimbursement. Decisions made at these meetings have a direct impact on how PAs in Tennessee care for their patients. Having a voice at these gatherings ensures that the interest of PAs and the patients they serve are protected. TAPA works hard each day to make sure that PAs have a seat at the table when these important decisions are made, and TAPA then communicates this vital information to TAPA members.

Members should visit the Members Only section regularly for updates and provide TAPA with current email addresses to receive timely email notifications.
